Welcome to North West Diesel and Marine Engineering Services (NWDMS). The business was established by Jamie following an active FIFO career in the maritime industry. He holds a Trade Certificate in Heavy Automotive and began his maritime journey after transitioning from the mining sector. Jamie went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Engineering at the Australian Maritime College.

With a deep passion for the maritime industry, Jamie spent over 13 years working on the North West Shelf Project, as a Senior Marine Engineer. He later moved into roles on Floating production storage and off loading and near-coast maritime operations, gaining extensive hands-on experience across a variety of marine platforms.

After spending most of his adult life working away, Jamie was ready to return home. His vision was to establish a locally run business in Exmouth, WA, and to build a skilled, motivated team to carry that vision forward. It was from this goal that North West Diesel and Marine Services was born.

As the business gained traction and the client base steadily grew, the opportunity arose to expand further. In 2024, NWDMS took a major step forward by acquiring Mumbys Auto Electrical, allowing the business to move into a fully equipped workshop and broaden its service offering.
